Childrens Ministry The Base Youth Club
The Base Youth Club for school years 3 - 7, 6.15 at St Peter's College, Fox Crescent, Melbourne.Alternate Fridays - please contact us for the dates on 07593 538801 or 01245 490998This is a children's club with a range of activities geared at 7 to 12 year olds. Each club we have a theme and all our activities are linked to this. Recently we have spoken about getting to know each other and have done this through creative activities like self portraits, playing trust games with blind folds, working as a team in sports and joining together for whole group games to teach the children how everybody is important and that God has made us all the same and He loves us all.We have also had the themes of Friendship, Joseph and his amazing colour dream coat and Joseph's dreams and as we come up to Christmas we will be talking about the true meaning of Christmas and again this will be done through lots of fun activities like pin the star on the Christmas tree, musical games, Rudolph races and Christmas cooking and much much more. In our team of staff we have qualified children's workers, a risk assessment manager, a nurse, nursery nurses, graduates, teachers, ministers of religion, and we supported by a huge team of volunteers to provide refreshments, tuck shop and other support for all activities. All the staff are covered by Criminal Records Bureau checks and the majority of them also hold Safe and Sound certificates (Child Protection) Please look in the gallery at the pictures
